I read your statement in the thread you created and I must say that you are one of the most ignorant terds on the internet. You, without doubt, are an idiot. 20 years ago this was happening and 20 years from now it will be happening.

Once again, you are an idiot.

As simple as this. The day the United States starts to "mind its own business" and stay out of foreign affairs, is the day the United States will start to become isolated, begining a shift in world dominance leading to the start of the U.S. becoming a third world country. People have no clue on how dependent the U.S. is on other countries. It is vital that we have our hand in everything. Spending all that money on our military is one of the greatest investments this country can make. Makes me sleep easier. Hats off to those that have served our country. It is so ignorant to think that we should pull out of the Mid East and "mind our own business". Then what? Let's allow Iran to pursue their nuclear program. If given half a chance, they would blow America off the face of the earth so you are damn right the U.S. should intervene.

And then to have some idiot say that it is one particular person and his father's fault.

Once again Jimfiestsux, you are an idiot.

That is the old fashioned view of the world. We will be involved forever in international politics and at rare times be called on to fight, but the reality is that money and trade are far more important these days than armed intervention. If you don't believe that, just look at the Japanese and how they developed. Having an army may be a nice deterrent, but the country that uses it too much can eventually get itself in trouble with quagmires and lost respect with the world.
